Marc Lewis

Marc Lewis’s practice spans sculpture, ceramics and painting.

Whether wielding a hammer, teasing a brush or shaping clay, his intent remains the same: to give flesh to the images that inhabit his dreams and swirl in his head.

His sculptures are often figurative but never literal, exploring form, the memory of muscle, the erosion of time and the tension between fragility and strength.

His paintings capture the turbulence of the mind.

Lewis' work will be included in WITH EACH LOOK, Lower Slopes’ inaugural exhibition, in Islington, 23 October–1 November 2026. His solo exhibition will take place at the Highgate gallery in September 2027.
